असमिया भारत के आसाम राज्य आ आसपास के कुछ जगह अउरी आसाम के लोग द्वारा अन्य जगहन पर बोलल जाए वाली भाषा बा। ई इंडो-आर्यन समूह के भाषा हवे आ एकरे पूरबी उपसमूह में आवे ले। बंगाली भाषा से एकर काफी समानता मिले ला।
